Gary Sundell

—   Gary Sundell, age 79 of Belle Plaine and formerly of Kilkenny, passed away peacefully at his son's home surrounded by his family on March 10, 2013 after a short battle with cancer. A private service will be held with burial in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.  

  Gary was born in Los Angeles, CA on May 17, 1933 to Stanley and Dorothy (McCarty) Sundell. He grew up in Pasadena, CA. Gary enlisted in the Air Force and served his country from 1953-1957. He moved to Bloomington, MN in 1972 where he worked for United Electric in commercial electrical sales. He also lived in New York, NY for a time before settling in Kilkenny, MN. Gary is preceded in death by his parents.

  Gary is survived by his sons, David of Elk River, MN; Scott of Tehachapi, CA; Brett (Elaine) of Belle Plaine, MN; 5 Grandchildren; Sister, Carol (Edward) Murphy of Goshen, NY; nieces and nephews.
