  Kathleen Suzanne Prehn, age 77, of Waterville died on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the Janesville Nursing Home.

 Born on July 2, 1935, in Mankato, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Frank and Rose (Wesley) Galler.   Kathleen attended school in Janesville and graduated from Mankato State Nursing College in 1954.  She married John Prehn on May 11, 1957, at St. Anns Catholic Church in Janesville.  Kathleen had been employed at the State Hospital in Faribault, as the school nurse in Waterville, and also at the Waterville Good Samaritan Center.  She enjoyed sewing, flowers, fishing, shopping, baking, watching the MN Twins, and pontooning.  She also loved spending time with her family and playing Uno with the grandkids.  She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters.

  Kathleen is survived by her husband, John of Waterville; three daughters, Kate and Greg Wetzel of St. Louis Park and their children, Andrew, Joe and Adam; Mary and Brian Harty of Waseca and their children, Sarah, Erin, Shaun, and Kevin; and Pat and Nyl Pope of Waterville and their children, Brandon, Grant, Phyllip, and Cole.  She is also survived by siblings, Bernie and Marge Galler of Eden Prairie, Mary Helen Kennedy of Mankato, Louise Hager of Madison Lake, Gordy and Diane Galler of Elysian, and Joe and Ann Galler of Virginia Beach, VA and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

 Visitation will be held at Prosch-Dennis Funeral Home in Waterville on Sunday, March 17, 2013, from 2-5 PM with a 5:00 PM Catholic Daughter Rosary.

  Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013, at 10:30 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Waterville.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waterville.
