Gary Lee Seibel

—  Gary Lee Seibel, age 54, of North Mankato, died Monday, November 26, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.

  Funeral Service honoring Gary will be held, 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 30, 2012, at Mankato Mortuary.  A visitation will take place one hour before the service at the mortuary.  Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the American Cancer Society.

  Gary was born March 3, 1958, in New Ulm to Eldor and Louella (Boyum) Seibel.  He attended school at New Ulm High School and graduated from Mankato State.  Gary was united in marriage to Jeanmarie Lindemann on December 20, 1980, in New Ulm.  Gary was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  Gary worked as a mechanical engineer for Thin Film Technologies after working at Carlson Craft through college.  He enjoyed woodworking and running marathons.  Gary had a special passion for the outdoors, his dogs, music, and riding his Harley until he became too ill.  He was a loving and humble man, who will be forever missed.

  Gary is survived by his wife, Jeanmarie; daughter, Barbara; son, Eric; grandson, Jackson Widman; his parents, Eldor and Louella Seibel; his three sisters, Judy (Keith) Hartman, Bonnie (Howard) Callahan, and DeeAnn (Mike) Mueller; mother-in-law, Ruth Lindemann; sister-in-law, Joan (Steve) Glasper; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

  Gary is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Paul Lindemann.
