Emma E. Schramm

—   Emma E. Schramm, 89 of Elysian, died on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Minnesota Valley Health Center in Le Sueur.

  Born on June 18, 1923, in Fairwater, Wisconsin she was the daughter of Walter and Louise (Fratzke) Keso.  She graduated from Green Lake High School in Green Lake, Wisconsin.  Emma married Reuben Schramm on July 24, 1945 at Trinity First Lutheran Church in Minneapolis.  She worked primarily as a homemaker and also worked at Hope Residence in Waterville.  Emma enjoyed bingo, knitting and playing cards.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterville.

  Emma is survived by four children, Sharon (Glen) Kelm of Waterville, JaNell Schwartz (special friend, Melvin Quiram) of Elysian, Rodney (Pam) Schramm of

Le Center, and Lisa Ann Lawrence of St Cloud.  She is also survived by three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one granddaughter-Kara Schwartz.

  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterville with Rev. David Mumme officiating.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the church.  Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery near North Morristown.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterville.  Prosch-Dennis Funeral Home in Waterville is handling funeral arrangements. www.dennisfuneralhomes.com.
