Margaret T. Hulwi

—     Margaret T. Hulwi, age 98, of Mankato, died on Monday, December 10, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.

  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Ted Hottinger, S.J. officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.  Northview-North Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

  Margaret was born on November 25, 1914, in Mankato, to Joseph and Julia (Saba) Shama.  On October 10, 1938, Margaret was united in marriage to James Hulwi.  Margaret had a wonderful zest for life and a special love for her family and friends.

  Margaret is survived by her son, James (Patti) Hulwi of Mankato; daughter, Ramona (Edward) Burggraaff of Gages Lake, IL; four grandchildren, James Hulwi III, Nicholas Hulwi (fiance, Tara Farrow), Kelly (Michael) King, and Elizabeth (Jonathan) Fuld; great-grandson, Jack Fuld; and nieces and nephews.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James, sister, Mae Bolus, and brother, John Shama.
