   Jason Paul Farniok, age 36, of Eagle Lake, died Monday, December 31, 2012, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Mankato with Rev. John Petersen officiating. Burial will be in the Eagle Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Friday at NORTHVIEW - North Mankato Mortuary 2060 Commerce Drive North Mankato and continue one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.

 Jason was born March 5, 1976, to Clement and Carmen (Matter) Farniok in Watertown, Minnesota.  He graduated from Delano High School in 1994.  He earned his diploma in Refrigeration, HVAC, and Appliance Repair from South Central College in North Mankato in 2000.  Jason was united in marriage to Melissa Anderson on June 28, 2003, in Mankato.  He worked at H&F Manufacturing in Maple Grove; Meyer and Sons, Bethany Lutheran College, and Minnesota State University  Mankato in Mankato.  Jason enjoyed deer hunting, four wheeling, and hanging out with his friends and family.  His big heart touched many lives and will be remembered as someone that was funny, fun to be with, and was always willing to help out a friend or family member.

 Jason is survived by his wife, Melissa of Eagle Lake; mother, Carmen Farniok of Delano, MN; sister, Theresa Franklin of Maple Grove, MN; three brothers: Howard Farniok, Paul (Carmelita) Farniok of New Hope, MN, and Gary (Mary) Farniok of Buffalo, MN; parents-in-law, Alan (Teresa) Anderson of Eagle Lake; brother-in-law, Brett (special friend Kim) Anderson of Eagle Lake; five nieces and three nephews.

  Jason was preceded in death by his father, Clement, and his grandparents.
