Harold E. Schuppenhauer, 88, of Winona, was called to his eternal home Monday, December 31, 2012, with his family at his side, at Laurels Peak Rehabilitation Center, Mankato, MN due to complications from Parkinson's disease.
He is survived by his wife Donna of 65 years; daughter Louise (Mark) Sexton, North Mankato, MN; son Steven (Carrie) Schuppenhauer, Eagan, MN; five grandchildren: Brent (Kate) Sexton, Tim (fiancee Stephanie Dwyer) Sexton, Sarah Schuppenhauer, Jennifer (Dave) Licht, and Kyle (Jayme) Schuppenhauer; four great grandchildren: Carter, Ty and Blake Sexton and Treven Licht; a sister Ethel (Verle) Smith, New Hope, MN and brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Services to remember Harold will be 11:00 AM, Friday, January 4, 2013, at St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church, Winona with Rev. Paul F. Welke officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Winona with military burial honors by the VFW Neville-Lien Post 1287, Winona.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home, Winona and beginning at 10:00 AM Friday at the church.
