Eileen M. Ulman

   Eileen M. Ulman, age 90, of Mankato, died Thursday, January 03, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato.

  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 7, 2013, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Fr. Andrew Olsem officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, St. Peter.  Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

 Eileen Mary was born November 27, 1922, to William and Mary (Young) Seitzer in St. Peter.  She graduated from St. Peter High School and attended Mankato Commercial College.  On October 14, 1946, Eileen was united in marriage to Lyle Ulman. They were blessed with five children. She was a member of the TOPS Club. Eileen enjoyed playing cards, especially Bridge and 500; casinos; and her two granddogs and grandkitten.  She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who called her Gramma Great. Eileen was easy-going, a social butterfly and always had a smile on her face.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

  Eileen is survived by her five children:  Jim Ulman of Wilmar, Sue Furland and special friend, Ken Kienlen of Mankato, Mary Lou (Tom) Lyden of Bowie, MD, Debbie (George) Brunick of North Mankato, and Dennis (Debra) Ulman of Maple Grove; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

 Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1990; granddaughter, Tammy Lyden; and two brothers.
