Donald L. Frank

—  Donald L. Frank, age 86, of Waseca passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center in Shakopee.

 Born on October 12, 1926, in Waseca, Minnesota, he was the son of Walter and Lynda (Fell) Frank.  He attended rural Waseca County school.  He later attended Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis and graduated with a degree in electronics.  Don married Joyce D. Bonaparte on June 28, 1948, in Waseca.  He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1946 until his honorable discharge in 1949. Following his discharge, Don worked at Ritt Electric in St. Peter until 1960.  He and his wife then moved to Waseca and opened Franks TV & Appliance which they operated until retiring in 1994.  Don enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.  He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and the American Legion in Waseca.

 Don is survived by his wife Joyce of Waseca; three children, Sandra (Roger) Behsmann of Santa Rosa, CA; Kevin (Carol) Frank of Savage, MN; and Sharon Frank of San Diego, CA; two grandchildren, Adam ( Janine) Behsmann and Noah (Katie) Behsmann; one great grandson, Sam Behsmann.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers-Wesley and Lorenz, and two sisters-Viola and Virginia.

 A public visitation will be held at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca on Thursday, December 20, 2012, from 4-7 PM.  The family will have a private family service with burial to follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
