Harriet Ceminsky


Harriet Marie Ceminsky, 87, of Montgomery, died Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Central Health Care Center in Le Center. Visitation will be held at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery on Wednesday, July 22 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Thursday, July 23 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.

Harriet was born in Kilkenny, MN on November 8, 1921, to Patrick and Irene (Balfe) Fitzpatrick. She attended country school then married Martin Ceminsky at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on February 1, 1947. They worked together hauling freight for Murphy Motor Freight for 12 years. Harriet also put on many miles picking up parts for Green Giant. She also worked at Munsingwear. In her free time, she enjoyed mowing the lawn, gardening and playing cards. She was an active member of the Faribault Eagles #1460 for 48 years.

She is survived by her husband, Marty of Montgomery; two nephews, Mike (Deb) Barten of Eagle Lake and Tom (Deb) Barten of Mankato; and two nieces, Sharon Johnson of Mankato and Lori (Wally) Callenuius of Shakopee.

Harriet is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Patrick Fitzpatrick; sister Virginia Zahratka; brother-in-law, Donald Ceminsky and sister-in-law, Rita Barten.
