Crookston — Patricia Ann (Muellerleile) Lenertz, 71, of Crookston, Minnesota; a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at RiverView Hospital in Crookston on February 19th with her family at her side.
Pat was born on August 3, 1938, to John and Marie (Thissen) Muellerleile at Mankato. She grew up in Mankato, was baptized and confirmed at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, and graduated in 1956 from the Good Counsel Academy. Upon graduation, Pat worked for the Northwest Bank in Mankato and later in Minneapolis. She was united in marriage to Thomas Lenertz on July 16, 1960, at Ss. Peter and Paul Church. They relocated and resided in the Minneapolis area until June of 1973 when they moved to Crookston and Tom began his work at RiverView Health. Pat worked for Widseth, Smith, and Nolting in Crookston, United Way in Crookston, and was very active in the RiverView Auxiliary for many years. She was a longtime, faithful member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Pat is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of forty-nine years, Tom; daughter, Laurie, of Chanhassen, MN; son, Brad, daughter-in-law, Michelle, and grandson, Anthony, of Winona, MN; sister and brother-in-law, Marcy and Bill Borman of Perham, MN; sister-in-law, Jan Muellerleile of Mankato, MN; brother and sister-in-law, George and Chris Muellerleile of Cedar, MN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Dorothy Lenertz of Waseca, MN; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Welcoming her home are her parents, John and Marie; her parents-in-law, Clarence “Kank” and Nona Lenertz; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Jim Becker; infant sister, Mary; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ervin and Lorraine Muellerleile and Leonard and Cecilia Muellerleile; and Martin Muellerleile.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston with The Very Rev. Bob Schreiner, presiding. Visitation will be at the Cathedral from 5-7 p.m. Monday, with a Wake Service at 7 p.m., and for one hour prior to the Mass Tuesday. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Mankato on a date yet to be determined. The Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home is assisting with funeral arrangements.
While Pat loved flowers, she expressed her desire for memorials to: RiverView Foundation-Lenertz Scholarship, at 323 S. Minnesota Street, Crookston, MN 56716.
The family would like to thank all those who provided support in any way, especially the doctors and nurses who gave her exceptional care.

Margaret C. Buck, known to many as “Mardy”, died peacefully on February 18, 2010, at age 87 due to complications of dementia. Mardy had been a resident at Sunrise Cottage of Mankato for the past 18 months. She was predeceased by her parents, the Reverend Harry W. Buck and Anna Mayer Buck, her sister Lucy Buck Lehman, her brother-in-law Ken Lehman, and her devoted friend, Dr. Jane Ann Roberts.
