MANKATO — Rita Petree, 87, of Montgomery, died Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Abbott Northwest-ern Hospital in Minneapolis. Visitation will be held at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery on Sunday, May 23 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Monday, May 24 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.

She is survived by her husband, Lehman; daughter, Renee Southworth of Montgomery; son, Gary Petree of Montgomery; sister, Marcella Thorsen of Montgomery; 4 granddaughters, Claire Crosby-Meadows, Angie Petree, Chelsea Petree, and Sabrina Southworth; and great granddaughter Dakota Dean Meadows.

Rita is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lucille Dietz.
