Margaret was born 10-1-1924 in Madelia, Minnesota to Eugene and Anna (Willock) Osborne. On 6-15-46 she married Earl Hennis. They resided in Madelia until 1969, when the family moved to Mesa, Arizona.
Whether you knew her for a short time or over the years, you were lucky to share her unique humor, her sense of loyalty and love of family. She leaves behind many great memories for those she touched in her lifetime. Margaret always brought her special sunshine to whomever she met. She was always the one who was up, laughing and smiling. Margaret had a passion for garage sales; she loved a great bargain. She will be deeply missed by those who loved and knew her; she was one of a kind.
Surviving Margaret are her two sons Steven (Marcia) Hennis, Tempe, AZ, and Bill Osborne, Madelia, MN; two daughters Betty Berg (Kevin Johnson), Gilbert, AZ, Lynn (Don) Runke, Mesa, AZ; 5 grandchildren, Glenda Arndt, Lewisville, MN, Kelly Osborne, Eden Prairie, MN, Stephanie Berg, Minneapolis, MN, Jennifer Berg, Manhattan, NY, Max Runke, Mesa, AZ; 3 great-grandchildren, Theodore, Allison and Katelyn Arndt, brother Phillip (Elsie) Osborne, Madelia, MN; sister Nancy Sorenson, St. Peter, MN; many nieces and nephews along with family friend Sam Briles, Tempe, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl, her parents, 7 brothers Paul, Clement (Clem), John, Howard, Robert (Bob), Dale (Casey), James (Tex), one sister Avis and daughter-in-law Lynn Osborne.
Our sincere appreciation to the staff at Hospice of the Valley East Mesa PCU for their care and kindness to Margaret and her family in her final days.
Private services will be held at a later date. Burial will be at National Memorial Cemetery of AZ in Phoenix. The family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley East Mesa PCU, 6063 E. Arbor Ave., Building C, Mesa, AZ 85206.
Bunker’s Garden Chapel handled the arrangements.
