Margaret Termain, age 94, of Madelia died on November 1, 2009, at the Luther Memorial Home in Madelia.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 5, 2009, at Pilgrim Funeral Home in Madelia from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled at 7 p.m.
Burial will take place in Globe, AZ, at a later date.
Arrangements are with Pilgrim Funeral Home in Madelia.
Margaret Jesse Walters was born on August 28, 1915, at Globe, Arizona, the daughter of Adolph and Mary (Baehr) Walthers. Margaret grew up and lived in Globe for 89 years. She moved to Madelia in 2004 to be closer to her daughter, Barb.
Margaret married Howard Termain in 1935 in Globe. Howard was in the grocery business.
Margaret loved her garden and lawn. In the nursing home she enjoyed looking out her window onto the courtyard where she could watch the flowers and birds. She enjoyed visiting with residents and staff at the home. She always liked when her nails and hair where done.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son Howard Termain Jr.; brothers Hank, Fred, Jake, Buster; sister Louise Thelander; and daughter-in-law Nelda Termain.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara (Don) Overlie of Lake Crystal; granddaughters Sharon Colyott of Roosevelt, AZ, Karon Gonzales of Globe, AZ; grandsons B.J., Josh, Allan, Chris; and great-granddaughter Jade Rose.
Margaret’s big smile will missed by all.
