Rosen, Sharon K. (Nee Kitsis) May 19, 1938 – November 5, 2009.

Shari was the inspiration for the name of the candy company, Shari Candy – The Sweetest Name in Candy, which began in 1944. Shari was born and raised in Mankato, MN, attended the University of Minnesota, and worked in the family business, Shari Candy and Barg and Foster, in Milwaukee, WI.

Preceded in death by parents; Maurice and Faye Kitsis, Mulvine Kitsis. Survived by son; David (Theresa Fox) Rosen; daughters Debbie Lacher, Jodi (Gene) Minsky Gonzalez; grandsons Brett Lacher and Evan Lacher; sister Vicki (Robert) Chiger; niece Melanie (Nick) Ribich and nephew Ross (Sarah) Chiger; and beloved life partner Charles Folks.

The family extends sincere thanks and love to Abundant Life Manor for their never-ending care.

Funeral services 2:00 PM Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun, 2020 W. Brown Deer Rd., River Hills, WI. Interment Spring Hill Cemetery, 166 S. Hawley Ct., Milwaukee, WI.
