Debra K. Wilking

Born to Fillmore and Marian (Schmidt) Wilking in New Ulm on October 16, 1955. Passed away November 23, 2009, at the River’s Edge Hospital in St. Peter surrounded by her family and friends.

She is survived by: daughter, Danielle of St. Peter; sisters: Cheryl (Aaron) Furst of Mankato, Randy Jean Wilking and Gail Davis of Kasota, and Patty (Alan) Weingartz of St. Peter: brothers: Barry Wilking and Doyle (Kara) Wilking both of Kasota, Tim (Kim) Wilking and Todd (Shelly) Wilking both of St. Peter; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many other relatives.

Preceded in death by her parents, four grandparents, infant sister Tammy Lynn in 1958; nephews Jacob Lee Wilking in 1991 and Trae Timothy Wilking in 1993.

Debbie enjoyed family, sewing with her sisters, going to garage sales and thrift stores, flower gardening, “vegging out” while watching TV and curling up with her pets. She worked at the Red Men Club in St. Peter and also at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter and she was a member of the Pocahontas Tribe Oseola Council #30.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Peter. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the start of the service at the church. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements
