Gregory Graue


Gregory Graue was born to Allan and Rachel (Philpula) Graue on March 14, 1952, in Minneapolis, MN. Greg was raised in Frost, MN, and later in Blue Earth, MN. He graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1970. Enlisted in the USAF May 18, 1972, and was discharged April 2, 1973. On July 12, 1975, he was united in marriage to Margaret “Midge” Anderson in Pipestone, MN. They have a daughter Rachel Graue of Winona, MN. Greg was a welder by trade. His final work place was at Myrl and Roys in Brandon, SD. He was a member of Blue Earth American Legion for over 30 years, Lura Lake Aereation Corp. of Amboy, MN, and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Blue Earth. He enjoyed fishing, ice fishing and 4-wheeling in the Arizona desert.

On Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at the age of 57 years, he died at his winter home in Coolidge, AZ.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Margaret Graue of Coolidge, AZ, daughter Rachel Graue of Winona, brother and sister-in-law Mark and Donna (Glembin) Graue of Northfield, MN; mother-in-law Darlene (Freese) Anderson of Pipestone; nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, paternal and maternal grandparents, uncles and aunts.

Graveside service is pending in Blue Earth, MN. Simes Mortuaries-Coolidge Chapel is assisting with arrangements,
