Ronald Osborne


Ronald Osborne of Apache Junction, AZ passed away on December 9, 2009. He was born on January 3, 1929, in Madelia, MN. He was the youngest of seven children born to Thomas and Laura (Schueler) Osborne. Ron served in the U.S Army and was stationed at Fort Manmoth, New Jersey. Upon returning from military duty he worked as a mechanic in Madelia, MN. He married Patricia (Sullivan) on March 31, 1951 in Madelia, MN. The couple was married for 58 years. They made their home in Madelia until moving to Le Center in 1961 where Ron worked as a mechanic until retiring in 1994. Upon retirement they moved to Apache Junction, Arizona. Ron is survived by his wife Pat and children, Kathy (Butch) Krocak of Le Center, MN, Laurie (Fred) Groebner of New Ulm, MN, Beth (Paul) McCabe of Le Center, MN, Pat (Carol) Osborne of Le Center, MN, Rick (Janet) Osborne of Port Orchard, WA, Joe Osborne of Fort Worth, TX, Sheila (Ed) Wild of Mansfield, TX and 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Evelyn Anderson of Dyer, IN., Addie McCabe of Madelia, MN and several in-laws. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, mother and father-in-law, Lester and Marie Sullivan, brothers and sisters, Ruth Osborne, Lucille Hall, Lloyd Osborne, Dick Osborne and several in-laws. Ron was a friend of Bill W. for 42 years. A funeral will be held in Le Center, MN on July 24, 2010 with burial at Fort Snelling.
