Former Mankato area resident, Gary J. Hart, age 55, died Wednesday, December 9, 2009 in Rochester, MN.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 28, 2009, at St. John‚s Lutheran Church in Mapleton, MN. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Woodland Hills Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.

Gary was born September 12, 1954, in Grand Rapids, MN to Francis and Priscilla (Weirauch) Hart. He served the US Army and was a member of VFW. Gary had worked for Spartech, National Poly and River Hills Mall. He enjoyed football, baseball and remodeling houses.

He is survived by his sons, Gary, Ricky and Benjamin Hart all of Mapleton; brothers, Alan and Glen Hart; parents, Francis and Priscilla Hart; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Ronald Hart.
