EAU CLAIRE —
Mankato MoonDogs’ players Jordan Steranka and Robbie Robinson played well on Tuesday as members of the North Division team in the annual Northwoods League summer collegiate baseball all-star game.
Steranka started the game at first base and eventually moved to third, playing errorless ball at both spots. He struck out in the first inning and then reached on an error and scored on a sacrifice fly in the third.
In the fourth, Steranka flew out to left. He singled and scored in the seventh and singled and was left stranded in the ninth.
Robinson delivered a base hit in the second inning and then walked twice before getting replaced at catcher after six innings.
The North won 7-5.
