Minnesota State baseball team to host Central Region Tournament

MANKATO — The Minnesota State baseball team has been named the top seed for the NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament and will host the six-team competition this week.

The Mavericks (44-10) will take on Regis University of Colorado in a first-round game on Thursday. St. Cloud State is the No. 2 seed and Winona State is the fifth seed.

The complete field and game times will be announced this week. All games will be played at Franklin Rogers Park.
