MANKATO — The Mankato East and West boys tennis teams have been awarded the top two seeds in the Southern Division, Section 2AA Tournament that gets underway Tuesday afternoon.
East is the No. 1 seed and West is No. 2. Both teams will get a first-round bye and will not play until Thursday. East is scheduled to meet the winner of (4) Willmar vs. (5) New Ulm) while West is slated to take on the winner of (3) Hutchinson vs. (6) New Prague.
The West match is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start while the East meet is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
