State Wrestling Update

ST. PAUL — The following area wrestlers won their first-round matches and will be competing in the Class A quarterfinals beginning at 5 p.m. tonight at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul:

Cordell Peterson (106 pounds, NRHEG); Austin Anderly (106, Le Sueur-Henderson); Zack Kuhns (113, Maple River); Louie Sanders (120, Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial Area); Jason Meyer (126, Sibley East) Bryon Forstner (132, Madelia-Truman); Austin Brockhoff (132, Sibley East), Dylan Herman (132, United South Central); Derek Herman (138, USC); Hunter Retzlaff (138, Sibley East); Taner Trembley (138, LCWM); Chris Pfarr (152, Le Sueur-Henderson); Zack Gleiter (152, St. James); Carter Hanson (160, Blue Earth Area); Adam Cooling (160, Madelia-Truman); Aaron Bates (170, Sibley East); Colten Carlson (182, USC); Kysten Zierke (195, BEA); and Nathan Rose (195, Sibley East).

Peterson and Anderly will wrestle each other at 106 and Derek Herman and Retzlaff will meet right away at 138.
