Mankato Ice 1, Chaska 0: To start off the season, Sally Morrow scored the only goal of the game for the Ice to take the win. Maddie Bacon and Morgan Krahmer shared net time for Mankato.
Mankato Ice 2, Eden Prairie 1: Aisha Abdo scored one goal for the Ice while Sarah Buryska scored one and had an assist. Elizabeth Vetter contributed the other assist. Goalkeepers for Mankato were Maddie Bacon and Morgan Krahmer.
Under-9 Boys Results
DAKOTA REV 3, MANKATO WHITE 2: Griffin Corbett scored Mankato’s first goal Saturday and was assisted by Joshua Baerg. Isaiah Rentschler scored Mankato’s second goal with an assist from Corbett. Colin Knutson, Nick Rasmuseen, Wyatt St. Onge and Baerg all shared time in net.
MANKATO WHITE 6, FARMINGTON 0: Corbett again led Mankato Sunday, scoring three second-half goals. Adam Christiansen, Gage Jensen and Knutson each added goals. Corbett, Christiansen, Kelm and Knutson each had assists. Michael Schickling, Jensen, Christianson and Kelm combined for the shutout.
Mankato moves to 1-2 on the season.

Akway, Nolta win 10Kato Run for a Cause
The last of the 2-mile runners and walkers moved along toward the 10Kato finish line on Emerson Lane on Monday morning when the first of the 10-kilometer racers suddenly caught up with them.
With his closest competitor at least 90 seconds behind him, O.C. Akway sprinted through the crowd and appeared to be trying to chase down someone else.
