West downs Owatonna 67-55

MANKATO — Mankato West had four players reach double figures in a 67-55 Big Nine Conference boys basketball win over Owatonna.

Jake Dale led the Scarlets with 18 points and nine rebounds. Alex Knutson scored 16 and dished out five assists, Austin Majeskie scored 12 with nine rebounds and Ryan Schlichte scored 11.

The Huskies’ Ty Sullivan led all scorers with 24 points.

The Scarlets led 37-24 at the half. They pulled down 29 rebounds and made 16 of 22 free-throw attempts.

West (14-9, 11-6 in Big Nine) hosts Faribault in its regular-season  finale Friday.
