Final MoonDogs game washed out

WATERLOO, IOWA — The Mankato MoonDogs had their final game of the regular season rained on Sunday, leaving the team tied for the franchise record for wins in a season with 42. This year’s team tied the record held by the 2011 MoonDogs squad.

The MoonDogs begin playoff action tonight with the start of a best-of-three series against Willmar. The first game is tonight in Willmar, the second game Tuesday in Mankato and, if a third game is necessary, will be played Wednesday in Mankato.

All starting times are 7:05 p.m.
