ST. JAMES — Laura Mayberry and Jay Zender were married Sept. 26 at First Presbyterian Church in St. James. Rev. Don Crissinger-Clark officiated.
Parents of the couple are Tom and Crystal Mayberry and Grant and Kathy Lillevold of St. James, and John and Wanda Zender of Mankato and Julie Christensen of St. James.
Maid of honor was Erin Mayberry and best man was Nate Zender.
Bridesmaids were Hilary Engel, Crystal Andresen and Kate Bjornson.
Flower girl was Kaitlynn Smith and ring bearer was Aidan Zender.
Groomsmen were John Mayberry, Matt Sizer and Kris Brenke.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of St. James High School and a 2007 graduate of Minnesota State University. She is pursuing her master’s in counseling at MSU, and is employed in the MSU Office of Admissions.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of St. James High School and a 2005 graduate of MSU. He is employed with Hatanpa State Farm Insurance Agency in Mankato.
A reception was held at the Mankato Golf Club. Following a trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is home in Mankato.
