Gretchen Elizabeth Heelan and Matthew Ray Schulz were married September 22 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato. Father Peter Nosbush officiated.
Parents of the couple are Timothy Heelan and Vickey Heelan and Terry Schulz and Elizabeth Helgen.
Maid of honor was Emily Lowry and bridesmaids were Megan Davis, Chentel Johnson, Katie Shamp, Elizabeth Brower and Jessica Tolzman. Personal attendants were Melissa Radolph, Lucie Krauter and Michelle Stiene. Flower girls were Anna Nelson and Madison Helgsted and ring bearer was Dylon Helgen.
Groomsmen were Tim Waallans, Mark Zollv, Colton Remaket and Sam Helgerson. Ushers were Chris Shamp and Tyler Schulz.
The bride is a graduate of Mankato West High School and South Central Technical College.
The groom is a graduate of Minnesota State University.
A reception was held at Old Main Village in Mankato. Following a trip to Cabo San Lucas, the couple is home in Decorah, Iowa.
