MANKATO — Melissa M. Birr and Robert M. Danks were married Oct. 3, 2009, at The Kato Ballroom in Mankato. Rev. Gary R. Miller officiated.
Parents of the couple are Mark and Linda Birr and Bob Danks and Kimberly Roy.
Maid of honor was Alisa Johnson, matron of honor was Angela Andreen and best men were Travis Leuer and James Stenzel.
Bridesmaids were Kayla Birr, Angela Danks, Jodi Birr, Holly Matter and Becky Williams.
Flower girls were Hannah Danks and Annabelle Birr and ring bearers were Robert Danks and Wyatt Birr.
Groomsmen were James Danks, Travis Danks, Ben Birr, Justin Jones and Travis Truebenbach.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Maple River High School in Mapleton and a 2001 and 2002 graduate of Ridgewater College in Willmar. She is self-employed as a wedding and outdoor portrait photographer.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Maple River High School. He is employed as a city carrier for the Mankato Post Office.
A reception was held at The Kato Ballroom in Mankato. Following a trip to Duluth, the couple is home in North Mankato.
