Weddings
Benson — Kunzmann
Sara Elizabeth Benson and Jason Robert Kunzmann were married May 16, 2009 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Mankato. Rev. Paul Lauer officiated.
Parents of the couple are Thomas and Nancy Benson of Mankato and Robert and Pamela Kunzmann of Blaine and the late Mary Kunzmann of Chisago.
Maid of honor was Stephanie Benson and best man was Andrew Kunzmann.
Bridesmaids were Jenna Wood, Grace Nohner, Monica Schneider, Katie Brosch, Laura Peloquin and Megan Jordan.
Flower girl was Emma Schuetz.
Groomsmen were Kevin Tjernagel, Brad Nelson, Nate Retzlaff, Luke Rassmussen, Chase Peloquin and Steve Peterson.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Mankato East High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth. She is employed as an early childhood teacher at Primrose School of West Plymouth.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Chisago Lakes High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Superior. He is employed as an agent for New York Life Insurance of Edina.
A reception was held at the Kato Entertainment Center in Mankato. Following a trip to Barbados, the couple is home in Plymouth.
