Kvitek — Saj
Ellen Christine Kvitek and Dr. Nathan A. E. Saj were married April 25, 2009 at Grace Lutheran Church in Mankato. Rev. Dave Wold officiated.
Parents of the couple are Paul and Terry Kvitek of Eagle Lake and Edward Saj and Gordon and Lynda Pisko of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.
Maid of honor was Laura Kvitek of Plymouth and best man was Mike McDaid of Sydney, Australia.
Bridesmaids were Angelyn Faust of New York, Krista Henkelman of Minneapolis, Emily Lunemann of Lakeville and Victoria West of Minneapolis.
Flower girls were Holly Gronseth of Edina and Emily Shafron of Plainfield, Ill., and ring bearer was Montian James Natrakul of Mankato.
Groomsmen were Chris Golden of Thunder Bay, Lucas Peltonen of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Alan Stoughton of Chicago and Tony Valente of Thunder Bay.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Mankato East High School and a 2005 graduate of Augsburg College in Minneapolis. She is employed as a youth director at United Redeemer Lutheran Church in Zumbrota.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Hammarskjold High School in Thunder Bay, a 2002 graduate of Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, and received a doctorate of chiropractic in 2006 from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington. He owns Absolute Chiropractic in Rochester.
A reception was held at the Old Main Village Dining Hall in Mankato. Following a trip to northern Minnesota, the couple is home in Rochester.
